Clarifying Our Name & Purpose

Superagentic AI, we understand that our name can sound bold, and at times, even raise questions about our intentions. So, we’d like to offer a clear and transparent explanation. Superagentic AI is not building AGI or superintelligence. We are not an AI lab developing foundation models, nor are we focused on replacing human intelligence. Instead, we are a software company dedicated to creating tools, frameworks, and workflows that help businesses build safer, auditable, and human-aligned AI agents, systems we call Agentic Co-Intelligence.

Our name, Superagentic, is also derived from Superagent + IC (Intelligence Criteria). The “IC” refers to our core framework that guides how agentic systems should be evaluated and deployed responsibly, with human oversight, transparency, and business alignment at the center. It’s about enabling humans to stay in control as superagents become more capable.

While our name may sound ambitious, our purpose is grounded, intentional, and human-first. All our branding has undergone appropriate trademark and IP reviews, and we've found no conflicts. 🧠 Why Superagentic Exists

I, (Shashi Jagtap), saw this future from the inside. I spent years improving Developer Experience (DevEx) at top-tier companies, including six years at Apple, building internal tooling for software engineers. I also owned few side-projects in AI/ML community and really enjoyed my time at Apple. I will share my experience later in my personal blog. But I realized something radical:

If developers aren't going to be relevant in the near future, then DevEx won't be either.

That insight changed everything and I discovered that the future won't shaped by software products anymore. It was being shaped by autonomous workflows, powered by agents. I really wanted to take my DevEx experience to AgentEx. It was pretty hard decision to leave the cushy job at Apple to go all in, to do what I really wanted to do.

I had to make a choice: stay in the comfort of my job (with no sign of long term future) or take a giant leap of faith into the unknown (with great potential to re-shape the future). I chose the latter. I left Apple and started Superagentic AI with a vision to build the first company dedicated to Agent Experience (AgentEx). I had no team, and no clear path. Just a burning desire and runway to make a difference in the next wave of AI not as an observer behind curtain but as a creator.

Now, I am on a mission to build my own empire in the world of AI without comproming my vision and values. The goal is to build a lean unicorn, (a one-person or few person and lots of compute) that will help thousands of businesses adopt intelligent agents safely and define their future.

🗺️ London or San Francisco

Deciding where to establish the company was one of the most significant decisions I faced. I found myself torn between London and San Francisco. Having lived in London for over 15 years, I have built tech communities here, watched my children grow up in this vibrant city, and developed a deep connection to it. However, given the current challenges for new founders and the complexities of building AI in Europe, I questioned whether London or San Francisco would be the better choice.

Ultimately, I chose to stay in London and build the company here. This city has given me so much, and I am committed to contributing back to its ecosystem. I know things will be bit hard but I don't be a coward and leave the sinking ship, rather I will re-shape it for the city I really love. I drew inspiration from companies like ElevenLabs, Lovable who are building from Europe and competing tough with Silicon Valley startups backed by significant venture capital.The greatest hype right now, which is Model Context Protocol (MCP) is also designed and built by couple of engineers from London. I truely believe that, London has load of untapped talent in AI, it just needs to be exposed. I also listened to great VCs who really really care about making positive environment for founders and startups in Europe. I salute their efforts.

While I greatly admire the energy and enthusiasm of the San Francisco AI community and look forward to engaging with them, my focus is on fostering a thriving Agentic AI community in London. I envision London as a global hub for AI innovation. The small step for this is to start an agentic AI meetup in London.

In today’s interconnected world, it’s no longer about geographical boundaries—it’s about building communities and supporting each other to advance in the AI space.

Traditional SaaS is too rigid. VC firms are overwhelmed and unsure where to invest. One-size-fits-all tools won't survive in a world of hyper-adaptable agents.
